There is no easy way to say What Crossfit is. Crossfit are many sports brought into one. Greg Glassman was a big athlete who realized that he would be stronger than others by doing heavy weightlifting. 1995 Greg founded a gym at the police station Santa Cruz and was hired the same year to be a coach. He was a personal trainer but was soon full booked and started training people in small groups. People thought is was great to have gym buddys and Geg eppreciated this society There the idea grew of founding of a big gym where people could come and train Crossfit. Crossfit didn‘t formally exist until 2000 is it‘s a very new sport. That‘s when Greg Glassman and Lauren Jenai opened the first Crossfit affiliate, Crossfit North in Seattle. Five years later, 2005 there were only thirteen members but in 2007 the number grwe and in sven years the number went from 13 to to 3400. Crossfit emphasizes endurance, strength, mobility, force. coordiantion, agility, balance and accuraxy. It‘s much for one sport but thats why people like it, they like how it‘s challenging and you always learn something new about yourself in every workout.
